In people with weak constitutions, ragweed can cause outbreaks of conjunctivitis, rhinitis, asthma, laryngitis, rashes and eczema! As it proliferates easily in our climate, it is important to keep this weed under control in our communities. Its invasive qualities are such that removal is sometimes obligatory by prefectoral order. To ensure a more efficient removal, this weed must be eliminated annually before the end of July for two reasons:
- We avoid seed proliferation before the plant flowers, and thus the risk of allergies;
- The plant is still in its growth stage, so less herbicide is required to eliminate it.
We advise you to apply a ready-to-use Roundup weedkiller for difficult weeds, or one for weeds with deep roots, for a more effective and convenient solution!
