To get rid of difficult weeds at the base of your hedges we recommend you employ a ready-to-use Roundup weedkiller, either multi-purpose or one for difficult weeds. Make sure you don't dab this on the leaves of your hedge, as Roundup weedkillers are not selective. If you ever apply Roundup by mistake on a plant you wish to preserve, then follow these rules: Immediately prune the leaf in question, or rinse the leaf with clean water, making sure that the water you are using for rinsing does not get on to the other plants or on to the lawn that you wish to preserve.
